I really like the format of your website and maybe, since you live in central NJ, our paths may cross someday. I teach harp at Jefferson Performing Arts High School in Elizabeth and at New Jersey Workshop for the Arts in Westfield, NJ. NJWA will be hosting a "Ray Pool Harmony Workshop" on November 13 from 11 AM TO 12 NOON, if you are interested. Ray and I have been working on this for a few months and finally have plans all set to make this a successful workshop. Let me know if you, or someone you know, are interested and I will forward details. Oh! The "Harmony Workshop" will be held at Zion Lutheran Church (corner of Oak Ridge

Hi, Mary. It's great to see you online. I hope it adds to your business as well as pleasure. I got your web address from Carole Haines. You can see me, if you want, at: www.princeton.edu/~mmsherry/ I don't know whether you had heard or not, but I got married on May 2nd to Stuart Rich, a man I've known through chamber music for about eight years. We are very happy. We just got back from a lovely two weeks in Turkey, poking around Istanbul and touring some of the archaeological sites in Anatolia in western Turkey. Hope to see you, or better yet, hear you again soon! Best regards, Peggy

That unnamed tune is distinctly march-like; why not call it "Mary's March"? (Also has a sort of medieval flavor, reminds me a little of the Freisinger Petruslied.) Really nice piece. --pH

I loved listening to the music! My title for your nameless tune would be "Waiting On The Shore." It has a decidedly Celtic air to it. Good luck with your compositions. Love, Penny

Hi Mary! What a great web site you have! I'm your fellow MHTP student. For your unnamed tune, I think of Chapel Bells, so I would entitle it either "Chapel Bells" or "The Chapel Beckons". Tell me more about the Harp Ring. What are the qualifications to join? Peggy Jaegly

Awesome harping Mary Lebus! I admire the discipline and tenacity of anyone who has the discipline to master such a complex instrument -- not to mention the effort to lug it around to perform! I enjoyed your presentation of Gaelic music in one of Department of Defenses's largest research center -- which is sort of an odd concept in itself if you think about it. Keep up the great effort to bring music that is healing and mentally stimulating to the masses! One question, how will you work the slinky into the act? Steve
